Terms of Service

Buildy is an AI-assisted tool for building React Native (Expo) mobile apps from natural-language prompts. It generates source code, previews it on our servers, and lets you export it. Buildy is a build tool — it does not run inside, or control, the apps you ship to end users.

You need an account (email and password) to use most features. You must be at least 16 to use Buildy (a minimum-age eligibility rule) and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us at hello@buildy.me if you suspect unauthorized use.

• Buildy offers a Free plan and paid plans — Pro (€25/month), Max (€50/month) and Enterprise (custom). Prices are in euros; any applicable taxes (e.g. VAT/IVA) are calculated and shown at checkout.
• Our order process is conducted by our reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle handles payment, taxes (VAT/sales tax) and returns, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from your billing portal (Settings → Billing). Access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments for periods already started are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for full details, including your EU/EEA rights.
• We may change prices with prior notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.
• If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights may apply. Where you ask us to begin a paid service immediately, you may be agreeing to start before any withdrawal period ends.

Each plan includes a monthly token budget and rate limits. We may throttle or suspend usage that exceeds your plan or that degrades the Service for others. The AI Gateway (Pro and above) is for use by your own applications — you may not resell it or proxy it for third parties.

You keep all rights to the prompts you submit and the code Buildy generates for you (“Your Content”). On a paid plan you can export your source code; there is no proprietary lock-in. You grant us a limited license to host, process and display Your Content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights necessary to use it.

Buildy uses third-party AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude) to generate code. AI output can be inaccurate, insecure or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, testing and securing any code before you ship it. We do not warrant that apps you build will be accepted by Apple or Google, or that they are fit for any particular purpose.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful;
• build or distribute malware, or generate code intended to cause harm;
• attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• abuse, harass, or violate the rights of others.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach this section.

The Service relies on third parties — for example Paddle (payments & Merchant of Record), Anthropic (AI), GitHub (source-code sync and managed app builds, which run on GitHub Actions and may push your project code to a GitHub repository), Expo/EAS (an optional build tool you can run on your exported source), and any backend you connect such as Supabase using your own keys. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

The Buildy name, website, design and software are ours and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our branding.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or where we must to comply with the law. On a paid plan you can export Your Content before doing so.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including statutory consumer rights.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with an updated date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and any disputes are subject to its competent courts — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
